The Construction Youth Trust works with disadvantaged young people to remove barriers and open up training and employment opportunities in Construction. Through our various projects we help young people to fulfil their full potential, build confidence and self-esteem and provide a chance to develop and demonstrate their natural skills and abilities.
The Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, management and delivery of the Trust’s work in the project Symud Ymlaen/Moving Forward, led by Llamau, in the North of Wales. The project aims to help young care leavers and young people who offend to enhance their chances of finding employment and accessing further learning or training. The Trust will be providing construction-based work experience opportunities and supporting employers and young people through these placements and accredited learning.
The North Wales Coordinator will be a self-starter, able to be responsible for both project management and delivery. The Coordinator will engage stakeholders in the community, built environment industry, education and regeneration to develop strong partnerships and secure work places for the young people we support. The role holds responsibility for winning further projects to develop the work of the Trust in this area.
The role will be suited to a ‘can do’ active and project-oriented individual.
An enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) disclosure will be required for this role.
